I’d already found what I was
looking for.
She came walking down Niels
Finsen’s street with a couple of girl friends. But I only saw her. She smiled,
her red lips laughing. She was a beauty, lovely and flawless to behold. But
deep in her blue eyes I spotted desire. Lust.
She didn’t notice me but she
ought to. I already knew her. Now I had found what I sought. The task ahead was
demanding but I had to do it. I owed it to myself. She would be my first move.
A sacrifice. A blood oath. The first step in recreation.
The
corpse of a young woman is found near the shoulder of a mountain road. The
young detective Einar Meyer is put on the case together with a team from the
Danish National Police. They are looking for a psychopath, cold as ice.
As
the investigation progresses, Einar’s strength wanes and his weaknesses take
hold of him.
