From the vikings to the reformation
(Bók)
G. V. C. Young
This is the first comprehensive work in English dealing with the early history of the romantic and somtimes mysterious Faroe Islands, situated in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Historically linked with the North of England and the Isle of Man in particular throug the Vikings and periods of Norse rule, these islands have exerted an influence belied by their size and position. Their turbulent past make interesting reading and perhaps provides lessons for the future.
